The best is to inform you before your departure.\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Smoking<\/b>. Meningitis may affect smokers either\u00a0<b>active or passive<\/b>\u00a0ones.\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Tiredness<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>stress<\/b>\u00a0weaken the immune system which then protects you less against the risks of disease.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"isoBlockPosition-none isoFloatClear-none fontFamilyStandardText fontSizeNormal fontColorStandardText \">\n<p align=\"left\">If you think you are in presence of a case of meningitis, take the ill person immediately to the doctor. If the doctor\u00a0<b>foresees a case of meningitis<\/b>\u00a0for a reason or another,\u00a0<b>he will hospitalize immediately the patient<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"isoBlockPosition-none isoFloatClear-none fontFamilyStandardText fontSizeNormal fontColorStandardText \">\n<p align=\"left\">A\u00a0<b>lumbar puncture<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 taking of cephalo-rachidian liquid \u2013 will allow to identify the bacteria or the virus\u00a0 responsible for the meningitis.
